33rd Annual Ramapo Rally Bicycle Tour Scheduled for Sunday, August 15, 2010.
Please join us on Sunday August 15th for the 33rd Annual Ramapo Rally (RAMPORALLY.COM) cycling event starting at Campgaw Mountain County Park in Mahwah NJ. Rides range from a 12 mile family ride to more challenging 25, 45, 62, and very challenging 100 and 125 mile routes. The list of towns in the Rally routes includes (alphabetically) Allendale, Bloomingdale, Boonton, Butler, Chester, Denville, Franklin Lakes, Kinnelon, Long Valley, Mahwah, Mt. Olive, Mountain lakes, Montville, Oakland, Pequannock, Pompton Lakes, Ramsey, Randolph, Riverdale, Rockaway, Wayne. The longer rides extend to the lake and hill country of Northern and Western New Jersey. The very challenging 125 mile ride extends as far as Schooley’s Mountain Park in western Morris County.

Online and mail registration closes August 10th, 2010. Pre-registration by August 1 is $25.00 for BTCNJ members and $30.00 for non-members. Pre-registration after August 1 is $30.00 for BTCNJ members and $35 for non-members. Day of event registrations is $35.00.
Day of event registration and pre-registration sign-in starts at 7:00 AM. Century and ultra-century riders must depart by 8:00 AM. The routes close at 5:00 PM and sweep vehicles will pickup straggling rides to insure that they are back by that time.
Routes are clearly marked and some rides will be led by BTCNJ ride leaders. Routes are supported by SAG vehicles that provide assistance to cyclists with mechanical or physical problems. Cue sheets (turn-by-turn directions) are provided for all routes. Rest stops are situated along the routes and provide cyclists with drinks, snacks and restrooms. A post ride lunch is included in the fee.
A portion of the proceeds from the Rally support the activities of Camp Sunshine, a local facility for multiply- disabled children and young adults.
