DWI Arrest: On October 8, 2018 at 6:47 p.m., Ptl. Christopher McIvor responded to the area of Sunset Valley Golf Course on the report of a man sleeping in his car.  Dispatch received information that the car was leaving area. Ptl. McIvor located the car as it left the golf course onto Sunset Road where he conducted a traffic stop.  He made contact with the operator, later identified as Peter Bruno, 59 years old of Little Falls, N.J.  Ptl. McIvor observed that Mr. Bruno displayed multiple signs of impairment and conducted field sobriety tests.  At the conclusion of the tests Mr. Bruno was placed under arrest and transported to Pequannock Police Headquarters for processing.  Mr. Bruno was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving.  He was released to a third party and has a scheduled court date at the Pequannock Municipal Court.   

DWI Arrest: On October 8, 2018 at 7:22 p.m., Ptl. William Juliano responded to Route 23 at Jackson Avenue for the report of a three car motor vehicle accident.  Upon his arrival, Ptl. Juliano made contact with the operator of a Chevrolet Equinox, who was later identified as John Imperatore, 59 years old of Mahwah, N.J.  Ptl. Juliano reported that Mr. Imperatore displayed multiple signs of alcohol consumption and conducted field sobriety tests.  At the conclusion of the tests, he was placed under arrest and was transported to police headquarters for processing.  Mr. Imperatore was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving.  He was released to a third party and has a scheduled court date at the Pequannock Municipal Court.

DWI Arrest:  On October 8, 2018 at 9:03 a.m., Ptl. Christopher McIvor was dispatched to Route 23 North on the report of an erratic driver who was possibly intoxicated.   Upon his arrival Ptl. McIvor located the suspect vehicle and observed that it was unable to maintain its lane.  Ptl. McIvor made a traffic stop and contacted the operator, later identified as Bryan Memmen, 37 years old of Wanaque, N.J.  Ptl. McIvor observed that Mr. Memmen displayed multiple signs of impairment and subsequently conducted field sobriety tests.  At the conclusion of the tests, Mr. Memmen was placed under arrest and was transported to police headquarters for processing.  He was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving, failure to maintain a lane, and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.  Mr. Memmen was released to a third party and has a scheduled court date at the Pequannock Municipal Court.
