Department Overview
The Parks & Recreation Department was established by ordinance over 35 years ago. Our facilities include approximately:
- 400 Acres of parkland
- 3 Baseball fields
- 7 Softball fields
- 6 Soccer fields
- 3 Basketball courts
- 6 Tennis courts
- Lakes
- Playgrounds

Areas & Facilities
The Recreation Department provides a variety of programs ranging from school age craft programs through senior citizen trip excursions. We provide a large array of passive and active recreational activities for our residents.
Employment Opportunities
Pequannock Township Recreation Department is continually seeking creative, dedicated individuals to help bring safe, enjoyable leisure opportunities to Pequannock residents. If you have a special talent to offer or are interested in chaperoning, coaching or teaching a special class, we want you!
