In preparation for the challenges that face us with Coronavirus COVID-19, staff, volunteers, first responders and local leaders have participated in numerous conference calls with Morris County and the State of New Jersey.  We are closely monitoring the situation, reviewing all available information and communicating internally, as well as with the Board of Education to coordinate the response.

In an effort to keep you informed, please be aware of the following resources:

Current data indicates this virus is causing greater harm to those over 60 years of age and older, as well as those with compromised immune systems and underlying health concerns, including respiratory disease.

You can help, your actions can make the difference!

The municipal building remains open for business and Township services have not been interrupted.  Should you wish to avoid a trip to the municipal building, please be aware of services available through our website:

If you have any questions, please contact the Health Department.

As a community, we have been through crises before.  Now, as a community, we will confront and cope with the challenges of Coronavirus-COVID-19.

Thank you,

Mayor Ryan Herd and all the members of the Township Council.
