On Thursday, March 19, 2020, the County of Morris issued an Order Pursuant to a Declaration of Emergency closing certain businesses and recreational facilities, and incorporating components of the Governor's Executive Order.
The order from the County of Morris includes the following:
The following businesses are ordered closed, within the geographic borders of Morris County, effective 2000 hours (8:00 p.m.) on March 19, 2020:
- Any Indoor Public or Private Recreational Bathing Facilities regulated by the local health departments in accordance with N.J.A.C. 8:26-1.1 et seq.
- Indoor Recreational Facilities including but not limited to those providing amusement activities, trampoline parks, miniature golf, batting cages, racquetball/tennis centers, and ice rinks.
All playgrounds and all playing fields within Morris County shall be closed immediately.
A park, within the jurisdiction of Morris County, may remain open for passive recreation with the following restrictions enforced: No organized or directed activity shall be permitted. Any other park activity that bring groups of more than four individuals (other than family members) shall be prohibited, including but not limited to, playgrounds, dog runs, amusement rides, stables (except for the care and maintenance of horses at stables).
The terms of this Order shall remain in effect until further order.

As such, any prior action by the Township will be revised to abide by the order issued by the County of Morris.
