Health Education Department provides an array of educational programs free of charge to our contracted surrounding towns:

Responsibilities

• Educate adults in areas of:
  • Blood-borne pathogens
  • Fitness and nutrition
  • Flu prevention
  • Healthy aging
  • Smoking cessation
• Educate children in areas of:
  • Fitness and nutrition
  • Flu prevention
  • Hygiene
  • Poison prevention
  • Sun safety
  • Tobacco prevention
• Educate adolescents in areas of tobacco prevention, sun safety, smoking cessation, alcohol prevention
• Facilitate community-wide fitness and weight loss programs
• Disseminate Health Department news and information via social network and media outlets
