Our facility is located at 99 Alexander Avenue in Pompton Plains. Our staff consists of sixteen full time employees who work on Roads, Water, Sewer, Parks and Grounds operations. Seasonal help is employed during the leaf collection season.
The services of the Department of Public Works include:

Leaf Collection (seasonal)
Maintenance of all Township owned vehicles
Maintenance of Board of Education fields and properties
Road Maintenance including snow and ice control
Sanitary Sewer System Maintenance
Shade Tree Maintenance
Spring Operations and Maintenance focus
Stormwater Maintenance
Street Signage
Street Sweeping
Water System Distribution and Maintenance. This includes maintenance of the Township wells and booster stations
