About the Committee

The Township Council has established an 11 member Flood Control Advisory Committee to study issues relating to flood control, flood protection and flood mitigation and to advise the Township Council, Planning Board and Board of Adjustment on matters relating to flood protection. Initially the Committee will be tasked with seeking strategies to protect homes from flood damage and seek out grant and funding sources to implement those strategies.

Any resident interested in serving on the Flood Control Advisory Committee should submit a completed Volunteer Application/Citizen Leadership form (PDF) to the Township Clerk.
